Bluetooth Speaker Specifications

2023-09-28 09:16:25

At present, there are many Bluetooth headset products on the market, while Bluetooth speakers are relatively few. The so-called Bluetooth speaker actually refers to the speaker relying on Bluetooth transmission protocol as the carrier for data transmission. Because most mobile devices (mobile phones, laptops, tablet computers) are equipped with Bluetooth chips, do not need data line or audio line connection can be quickly identified, simple operation, convenient connection.

From the perspective of sound quality performance, the effective audio data amount of CD sound quality data (44.1KHz sampling rate, 16bit sampling accuracy) is about 1.4 Mbit. To transmit the CD sound quality music signal, the transmission rate only needs to be maintained at 2 Mbit per second, and the Bluetooth "2.1 + EDR" specification is sufficient. Moreover, because this kind of products often follow the mature acoustic structure of traditional speakers, after the integration of Bluetooth module to achieve wireless playback, its sound quality performance is comparable to the same level of speaker products.

In terms of specifications, although the Bluetooth 3.0 / 4.0 standard has been proposed, the former is mainly reflected in the Bluetooth RF modulation mode to Wi-Fi, while the latter is reflected in the application of automatic power control, that is, low power consumption. These two versions reflect the progress of Bluetooth technology, but they have little connection to audio applications. From the chip level application point, suitable for 3.0 / 4.0 version.

Bluetooth mainstream speakers all use A2DP stereo protocol, while in 2012, smartphones and tablets and other devices supported A2DP protocol, so in terms of use, Bluetooth speakers have no obstacles.
